This is a rare opportunity for a junior to mid-level lawyer with experience in broadcast content compliance, editorial law, media litigation, or regulatory matters to join a fast-paced newsroom where your advice will directly shape live and breaking news output.

You'll advise journalists, producers and editors on:

• Broadcast compliance & the Ofcom Code
• Defamation, privacy & data protection
• Contempt, reporting restrictions & copyright
• Live and pre-publication editorial risk

The role offers exceptional exposure, real responsibility from day one, and the chance to work alongside some of the most experienced editorial and legal professionals in the industry.

Ideal candidates will have:
️ 1–4 years' PQE (indicative range only)
️ Media, editorial, compliance or litigation experience
️ Strong commercial judgement and excellent communication skills
️ The ability to make clear, confident decisions under pressure
