COMMERCIAL, TECH AND AD TECH LAWYER - MEDIA SECTOR

Our client is a leading international media and entertainment company operating major broadcast, streaming, and advertising platforms across global markets.

This is a standout opportunity for an experienced commercial, tech and/or programmatic advertising lawyer who enjoys variety. 
It is a fixed-term contract with a strong temp-to-perm trajectory. Ideally full-time, but 4 days/week is workable. The role is London-based with a hybrid model (3 days in office, for reference).

This is not a classic media production/distribution legal role. It splits into two major limbs:

Commercial & Strategic Spend Work
You’ll handle high-value, heavily negotiated agreements across a wide spectrum, including:
• Complex facilities and service contracts — often bespoke, sometimes touching on TUPE and employment considerations
• Tech-heavy distribution deals with freeview providers — SaaS/technology/platforms contracting experience is highly relevant
• Programme finance arrangements involving multi-party structures
• Acting as a first legal sounding board on employment-adjacent matters (with specialist counsel available when needed)

Revenue-Generating Global AdTech Work
You’ll support programmatic advertising and data-driven partnerships globally (outside the US), advising on adtech/media planning agreements with 3rd parties. These often involve data protection and regulatory considerations and cross-functional collaboration with tax and commercial stakeholders.

The succesful candidate will be a qualified lawyer and be:

• Commercially minded and solutions-oriented
• Comfortable with complex deals end-to-end, asking for support when needed
• Dynamic, approachable, and pragmatic: the culture is unstuffy and down to earth
• Able to maintain pace and keep transactions moving
• Confident gathering information and collaborating across teams
