An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Affairs Executive to join a dynamic and high-profile team in the global media sector (not for profit).

This role offers the chance to work at the heart of the global screen sector, contributing to projects that promote UK film, TV, and digital content on the world stage.

About the Role
As a Business Affairs Executive, you will play a pivotal part in delivering expert legal and business affairs support across all aspects of our client’s operations. You will:

  • Support the Business Affairs Manager in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements related to funding allocations.
  • Review and advise on a wide range of documentation — including production, financing, co-production, sales, and distribution agreements — ensuring robust legal compliance and alignment with our client’s objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain template agreements to streamline project delivery.
  • Conduct due diligence on funded projects, ensuring best practice and compliance throughout.
  • Offer clear and strategic legal advice throughout all stages of project development and operation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by staying informed on legal developments and industry trends.

About You
You’ll have a strong background in film and/or television law, ideally gained within a production, financing, or broadcaster environment. You should bring:

  • 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience (or equivalent) in entertainment or media law.
  • Excellent understanding of the UK and international film or TV production, financing, and distribution landscape.
  • Experience in structuring and advising on film and/or TV co-productions.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex legal issues quickly and communicate solutions clearly.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative approach, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

This is a hands-on, engaging role for someone who thrives on variety, values precision, and enjoys balancing the creative and commercial dimensions of screen content production.
