Description

ANTI-COUNTERFEITING PARALEGAL
GLOBAL CONSUMER BRAND
LONDON, HYBRID

Protect a globally recognised design-led brand. Disrupt the counterfeit trade.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the IP Legal team of a highly successful, design-led consumer brand, loved worldwide for its distinctive, original and collectable products.
You will play a pivotal role in protecting the brand globally, tackling counterfeit activity from factory to consumer across international markets. It's a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IP paralegal to take ownership of high-calibre, international work within an ambitious, fast-growing global brand. You’ll work alongside a super impressive, collaborative team in a genuinely collegiate culture, with the scope to deepen your specialist expertise and grow your career as the business continues its exciting international expansion.

The role:

  • Manage anti-counterfeiting investigations across online and offline channels.
  • Coordinate global enforcement activity with IP Counsel, investigators, customs and law enforcement.
  • Drive online monitoring, marketplace takedowns and brand protection initiatives.
  • Support civil and criminal enforcement, product authentication and evidence management.
  • Analyse intelligence and trace counterfeit supply chains to disrupt illicit activity.

The experience we need:

You may come from a private practice or in-house background. Either way, you will have the experience below:

  • Essential: hands-on experience managing anti-counterfeiting matters, gained in-house or in private practice.
  • Proven experience in global IP and brand protection, covering online and offline enforcement.
  • Strong knowledge of counterfeit investigations, marketplace takedowns and supply-chain tracing.
  • Experience working with external investigators, customs and enforcement agencies.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage complex cases.

Please note: This is a specialist IP/anti-counterfeiting role, not a generalist paralegal position. Applicants must have demonstrable, practical experience in anti-counterfeiting and global IP/brand protection matters. Due to the volume of applications, we can only respond to candidates with the specific experience outlined above.
