Our client is an independent music company that owns and operates record labels internationally. They pride themselves on working at the very heart of the independent music ecosystem, championing and supporting artists and labels.
 
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the UK Legal and Business Affairs team in London.
 
The ideal candidate will have two years of experience working in the business affairs department at a music company or the media/ entertainment department of a law firm. This person will have a law degree, sound understanding of IP law and proven contract drafting skills.
 
Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Legal and Business Affairs team in rights acquisitions, service deals and group matters
• Providing support to the company’s record labels and external label partners by negotiating and drafting a range of contracts and agreements
• Maintaining the company’s rights management system alongside the BA Admin Assistant
• Addressing internal queries on contractual terms and rights
