Our client is a successful, full-service international law firm, with a highly rated TMT team. They are looking for a first-rate senior media and entertainment specialist for a fixed term of 6 months.
The role will be working closely with a partner who heads up the practice and sector globally and is continuing to build out the firm’s media and entertainment practice.
You will need to have a solid media and entertainment expertise, having gained experience in either private practice or an in-house environment, with a drive to help build the practice, working across a wide range of matters and supervising more junior members of the team.
You will be a natural communicator, with a high level of commercial awareness, excellent drafting and negotiating skills and, ideally, good industry contacts.
You will add value quickly, working across a varied and interesting workload, on the acquisition and distribution of content, advertising, sponsorship and influencer deals and assisting on investments into the media and entertainment assets, JVs and partnerships within the media sector, as well as regulatory work (for example advertising, online safety, gambling etc).
You will get great exposure to a wide range of clients in the sector.
