We are working with a well-known family office, looking for an experienced private equity/private M&A lawyer to join the business. The role is a sole counsel position and offers strong career development prospects to General Counsel.

The remit will include co-investments and direct investments, secondaries transactions, investments into fund vehicles as well as joint ventures and partnerships with sponsors or operators, across a variety of jurisdictions, including the US.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on private equity and/or private M&A and will have trained and qualified at a well-respected City law firm. You will have experience of leading private equity and/or private M&A transactions and be comfortable negotiating with counterparties. You may have already moved to a buy-side team in-house and looking for the career progression this role can offer.
