Our client is an exciting scripted production studio, which creates innovative cutting-edge TV and film content. It also supports exceptional talent to create and maximise their own IP and potential.
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a TV or film lawyer with either scripted or unscripted TV production experience to join the company at such a pivotal time. They have a number of projects in development and are working with a range of highly talented creatives across multiple genres.
As Legal and Business Affairs Manager, you will deliver a first class legal & business affairs service, which will include:
- Supporting busy development teams: including negotiating and contracting options, writers agreements and development/co-development agreements
- Negotiating with all major broadcasters, SVODS and platforms
- Drafting and negotiating across the programming slate; broadcaster and co-production negotiations, and distribution and exploitation arrangements as necessary
You will have experience gained within a fast-paced media/production company or media law firm. Excellent knowledge of TV development, production and distribution in the area of TV/film content is important.
Our client will consider qualified lawyers with c.2-5 years PQE, as well as non-qualified Legal and Business Affairs Managers with extensive scripted or unscripted experience.
