We are looking for an employment settlement agreements specialist for a lively and ambitious full service law firm. Its key strengths lie in providing high quality advice to SMEs and entrepreneurs. They have an innovative approach to the development of their fee-earners and they pride themselves on their flexible and collaborative culture. Unlike many others in private practice, they have weathered recent market challenges well and are looking to grow. This is a new role.

The focus will be on settlement agreements rather than general employment law and will suit a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) or a solicitor, qualified to sign settlement agreements. You will be mainly supporting settlement agreement reviews and therefore knowledge of the content and structure of such agreements is a must and you will be organising the administrative process from on-boarding to finalisation. You will also develop strong relationships with panels to attract more settlement agreements related work and disseminate materials written by the firm on various social media channels.

There will be some corporate support work in the quieter periods, supporting the corporate team on transactions, producing board minutes, stock transfer forms, forms for filing at Companies House and making the filings, as well as producing bundles for court hearings.

You will be articulate, personable with excellent communication skills and enjoy client interaction. We are particularly keen to speak with experienced candidates or those who have taken maternity/paternity leave or a career break and are looking to return to work. Please note this is a full time role. Salary depends upon experience with no lower or upper limit. Bonus will be based on personal performance and the number of settlement agreements reviewed.
