Our client is one of the world's largest and most successful creators, producers and distributors of entertainment, drama, film and documentaries.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Legal & Business Affairs Manager to join the high performing and collaborative team. Reporting to the EVP of Legal and Business Affairs, this role will support the growth of the business.

The role will assist with the negotiation and contracting of various development and financing arrangements with talent, producing partners and financiers, as well as general advisory work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Negotiating and contracting writer agreements, book options and other agreements to acquire underlying rights.
• Assisting with the drafting and negotiation of broadcaster and co-production agreements and distribution and exploitation arrangements.
• Assisting local production teams with production legal matters that arise, including support with templates and advising on talent contracts, key crew contracts and third party rights agreements.

The office is based in C. London, with flexibility around hybrid working. Our client will consider candidates looking to work full time or a 4 day week.

We are looking for a lawyer with good scripted experience, including drafting writer agreements, book options and/or other underlying rights deals, co-production and director deals.
