NON-SCRIPTED TV LAWYER
3+ YEARS' PQE
HYBRID WORKING

Are you a qualified solicitor or barrister with significant experience in non-scripted TV production?

Our client is a legal & business affairs specialist in the TV and VOD sectors. They wish to hire a media lawyer to join their dynamic team.

As a collegiate team of expert lawyers and advisers, you will work on complex television business affairs and production service matters, offering an incredible opportunity to collaborate with some of the industry's most experienced professionals.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, including broadcaster/commissioner, financier, co-production, distribution, and underlying rights agreements.
  • Advising on legal aspects of non-scripted TV production.
  • Supporting top-tier clients in an ever-evolving media landscape.

 
What We’re Looking For:

  • A solicitor or barrister with minimum of 3 years’ PQE in media contracts law, specifically in non-scripted television production.
  • In-house experience at a TV production company is preferred, though relevant private practice experience will also be considered.
  • A deep understanding of television production processes.
  • Experience in scripted programming is desirable but not essential.
  • A strong academic record, excellent written and interpersonal skills, and a passion for the media industry.
