Our client is one of the world's largest and most successful creators, producers and distributors of outstanding television brands, responsible for many of the world’s highest rated prime time entertainment, drama, serial drama and factual entertainment.

The commercial distribution arm of the business has a network of international sales offices and licenses programmes to more than 200 territories worldwide.

We are looking to recruit a lawyer to join the high performing and collaborative team. Reporting to the VP of Legal and Business Affairs, this role will support the growth of the business. Our client is considering lawyers at all levels.

This is a production-focused role and knowledge and experience in TV production is an advantage.

The role will focus mainly on the acquisition of exploitation rights in independent productions (including various forms of co-productions, deficit financing models and output deals) and in-house produced programmes and formats.

There will also be an element of work across the distribution aspects of the team including licensing of rights and formats. 

The office is based in C. London, with flexibility around hybrid working.

We are looking for a lawyer with substantial relevant media experience gained in house or in private practice and considerable knowledge and experience of international media environments, including particularly acquisitions, international co-production and co-financing.
